The market was once destroyed by the tsunami, but it reopened after restorations were completed. The market was rebuilt in May of 2013 with a great passion to not only restore the area but also to make the “Yuriage” area a great place to visit. The market has approximately 40 shops and restaurants that offer lots of fresh seafood and vegetables. You can cook your food purchased at the market at the barbecue area . You can also participate in an auction in the marketplace which is a rare experience. (Find and get things that you did not expect!)　 Hours of business：Sundays & Holidays 6:00 am – 1:00 pm
