    Yuriage Port, where Akagai clam and Shirasu catches are hauled in, is also home to the Yuriage Port Morning Market, an event popular with tourists and held on Sundays and holidays. Although it was interrupted by the earthquake disaster, over 40 shops that lined the area returned to their Yuriage operations in 2013, and feature fresh seafood, freshly picked vegetables, restaurants, and more. Wake up a little earlier than usual, and you'll be able to check out some of the great tastes of Natori!

  • Kawamachi Terrace Yuriage

    An elevated area overlooking the relaxing Natori River and Sendai cityscape, featuring a variety of shops that sell everything from kamaboko, confections, to fresh fish and vegetables.   • Sasaki Brewery

    A sake brewery in Natori City, Miyagi Prefecture, which was founded in 1871 and has continued for 150 years. Although the head office store and sake brewery were completely destroyed by the Great East Japan Earthquake, the following year they started brewing sake in a temporary brewery that was unprecedented in the history of Japanese brewing. October 1, 2019, they decided to Return to Yuriage and rebuild the sake brewery. In addition to tasting and purchasing sake, you can also enjoy non-alcoholic amazake.

  • Natori Cycle Sports Center

    Opened in October of 2020 as Tohoku's only cycling facility, it also features hot spring baths. The center is home to a bike path of around 4km per lap, a skateboarding park, 3x3 basketball court, futsal court, playground, and more. After a day of sports, visitors can also enjoy the natural springs of the Rinrin no Yado inn.

    café malta is a cafe/restaurant in Yuriage, which is directly managed by Malta Suisan (Fisheries) Co., Ltd., which manufactures shirasu (baby sardines). In the store, enjoy the menu such as Yuriage's specialty "Northern Shirasu" sent directly from the factory, the chef's proud hamburger steak and roast beef bowl, and freshly ground coffee, and spend a relaxing time.

  • Miyagi Micro Brewery

    Since 1997, it has been producing local beer such as fruit beer, and once operated "Torinoumi Brewery" with a brewery and a restaurant in Watari Town, Miyagi Prefecture. They were affected by the Great East Japan Earthquake, and all the equipment, buildings, raw materials, etc. were washed away, but we decided to restart brewing because many customers said, "I want you to continue."
    Since 2020, it has been manufactured at the "Miyagi Yuriage Brewery" established in the Yuriage district of Natori City, Miyagi Prefecture, and not only direct sales but also tours of the factory where tasting is possible are carried out. (Reservation required, capacity up to 8 people)

  • Natori City Earthquake Reconstruction Museum
